Heavy fog disrupted road travel on Islamabad to Lahore Motorway, leading to partial closure of its section from Thokhar Niaz Beg to Pindi Bhatian Interchange for traffic, official said.A motorway spokesman said visibility was down to zero early Wednesday.He said Lahore-bound traffic from Islamabad was brought to Pindi Bhatian in the form of convoy to avoid any mishap.On the other hand, fog started to hover over Peshawar-to-Islamabad motorway also since last evening.Authorities closed a section of motorway for heavy vehicles due to thick fog. However, operation resumed as normal after visibility improved.
