Summary Corruption and embezzlement of millions of rupees of have come to surface in Sindh Law Department.
A session of the Sindh Assembly’s Public Account Committee was held chaired by Jam Tamachi Anar.The session was briefed that no audit was carried out in the said department from 2004 to 2011. There are heavy irregularities pertaining to uniform, stationery, law charges and other issues.Tamachi said that there was no record of the expenditures in the Law Department. A fraud worth Rs 11.73 million has been committed in the Sukkar office, adding that case has been registered against the clerk Orangzeb in the Anti Corruption Department.
