Stop drone attacks to win hearts, Muqam tells US

Talking to American Consul General of Peshawar, Dr Mary Richards at his Islamabad residence, the President Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa PML-Q and Deputy Parliamentary Leader in the National Assembly advised the American official to identify specific welfare funds while disbursing Pakistan’s welfare needs.The American Consul stressed strong friendly relations between masses of the two countries, for which meetings, dialogues and contacts should be steadily maintained.She said that America had contributed heavily to Pakistan’s provincial and federal aid during past three years, but expressed her deep concerns and severe doubts as to whether the aid had ever reached the deserving.“Such a situation was creating hatred and distrust among masses for their government,” she said.
