Kimari: NADRA opens office next to a bar

It causes tremendous problems for the people visiting to apply for identity cards.As per details, women also come here to get their identity cards, but the neighbourhood has proven to be awkward for them.It is very sad to mention that there are two queues of people parallel to each other; one for identity card applicants and the other for the liquor-lovers.According to the area people, very often unruly incidents took place there as drunkards misbehaved with women. The people have demanded the government shift the NADRA officer to elsewhere.Some citizens are of the view that a police station is situated not far from the bar, but policemen are seen taking no pain to discourage the drunkards and uncivilized people.NADRA officials stated that they have acquired land for new office and full setup would be shifted very soon.
