Summary A woman was burnt alive in the crowded bazaar in Nankana Sahib over a minor dispute.
The incident occurred at Shahkot area of Nankana Sahib where two families clashed a few days ago over a fight between children.The accused Arshad Papu kept the grudge and overpowered 35-year-old Najma with the help of his accomplices when she was going to her sister’s house. The accused sprinkled kerosene oil on Najam and burnt her.Najma, mother of three, was shifted to hospital where she expired of burn wounds. The accused fled from the scene after the incident. However, Police have arrested the accused after airing of the news on Dunya News.
