Summary Quetta Electric Supply Company disconnected 8 connections of Railways Department over non-payment.
QESCO disconnected eight connections of Pakistan Railways over non payment due to which supply of electric power to the said colony has been suspended since morning.The colony employees protested over provision of electric power to the Officers Colony by a generator.Protestors said that the amount of bill is deducted out of their monthly salaries. If the department does not pay the amount to the QEACO, the Railways employees are not responsible for disconnection.They also demanded of the government that urgent steps should be taken for restoration of power to the said colony.
