Summary An ill baby died because cruel policemen stopped his dads motorcycle on way to hospital.
The blood-curdling incident took place in Sahiwal where unscrupulous policemen stopped a motorcycle at a picket. The motorcyclist was carrying his three-month ailing baby to hospital. He told the policemen that his son needed to be rushed to hospital for medical emergency, but his pleadings would fall on deaf ears, as per routine. The cops kept the man detained for over one hour. His baby died in the meantime, without medical attention because of the cruel policemen.The grieved family has demanded the Punjab chief minister to take action and get them justice.Policemen breaking law is common in Punjab more than in other provinces. The cops are seen violating traffic rules themselves under the pretext of enforcing law.
