Summary Unannounced load shedding has badly affected domestic as well as mercantile activities in Karachi.
The KESC has started routine of load shedding more than 10 hours in domestic and commercial areas of the city, justifying shortage of gas provided by Sui Southern.Besides, it takes time to eliminate any default and mending broken wires. It has caused tremendous problems for citizens who are bound to bear the sufferings of changing weather.Gulshane Ma’amar, Alamgir Road, Bahadur Abad, different blocs of North Nazim Abad, Old City Area, Korangi, Lines Area and Gulshane Iqbal Bloc-4 have been facing load shedding since 7 am while North Karaci, Sarjani, Gulzar Bajri, Safora Goth, Garden West and suburbs of Fawara Chawk are deprived of provision of electricity since 7 am.
