Summary The residents of Sardar Colony were forced to leave after canal water entered into their homes.
Owing to early morning rains, about four feet water inundated the residential area. The residents immediately sought the help from Flood Control Centre and the district administration but no relief teams could reach the site.The people claimed that to save the homes of the influential people living at Warsak Road; the water was channelized to Sardar Colony.This practice has been continuing for the last three years, added the affected residents.
