Summary Police baton charged the flood affected people who were protesting on Badin-Hyderabad Road.
The flood affected people of Talhar protested against the shortage of relief goods and severe sewerage condition on Badin-Hyderabad National Highway. The protesters completely blocked the road and chanted slogans.Police used baton charge to disperse the protesters but the pelted stones on police in which 6 officials were injured while an injured man was shifted to hospital.The police officials locked some protesters who were hiding behind the shutters of the shops.Meanwhile, ten police officials were taken hostages by the protesters after the flood victims snatched their weapons.The protesters said that the police officials would not be released till the acceptance of their demands.
