Summary Robbers looted Rs 3 million from a private bank at Thokar Niaz Beg and fled away.
According to police, five armed robbers entered a private bank at noon and snatched away arms from bank guard. Later they took the entire money into possession and escaped, locking the main gate of the bank.Having information, police reached the site and collected information about the mishap.Talking to media, DIG Investigation Ali Amer said that all the robbers apparently seemed to be from the northwestern part of the country and their way of looting was similar to six earlier robberies.He said that bank administration was not giving attention to proper security, adding that police would try their best to trace the robbers.
