Summary GB Chief Minister chaired a special meeting to improve law and order situation.
The meeting also decided to disarm the city and shoot miscreants on sight.GB Chief Minister Mehdi Shah said that establishment of law and order was the first priority of the government. Terrorism was not only affecting mercantile activities but also damaging education, health and tourism. If the situation remains chaotic as usual, Gilgit city would be a barren land, he warned.He said that government has made plans to launch an operation to disarm the city. This is the only way to restore peace and prosperity for the welfare of the people, he added.
