According to details, 12 people fell unconscious after eating poisonous food during a Walima reception at a marriage hall at Sixth Road in Rawalpindi. Those who fell unconscious also included bride and groom and three sisters of bride.All the victims were rushed to the Holy Family Hospital where medical treatment was provided to them and they were reported out of danger. According to some relatives of the bride, management of the marriage hall was informed about the food but they did not take any notice.
