Summary Sind Government issued a notification for the appointment of six judges in Anti Terrorism Courts.
This action was taken on the direction of the Pakistan Supreme Court.Hundreds of cases were pending due to lack of judges in ATC in Sindh.On the direction of the larger bench of the Supreme Court, more judges have been appointed in all the eleven courts in Sindh.According to notification, Shahid Shafiq has been appointed in Badin, Rashsid Soomro in Jacobabad, Syed Saeed Hassan in Khairpur, Muhammad Javed Alam in Hyderabad, Syed Saghar Zaidi in Nawabshah and Ghulam Mustafa G Memon in Karachi-3.Two months ago the government had appointed judges in four Anti Terrorism Courts.
