Summary Expected rains in catchment areas of River Sutlej may cause more flooding in Ganda Singhwala.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), more rains are expected in the next three days in Lahore, Kasur, Sargodha, Sialkot, Bahalpur, Bahawalnagar, Rahim Yar Khan, Badin Thatta and Hyderabad.The PMD sources said that another deluge is expected to hit Ganda Singh Wala due the heavy rains while it also predicted rise in water in Indus River.According to Chief meteorologist of Flood Warning Centre in Lahore, another deluge is likely to reach Ganda Singhwala and Head Sulemanki.Chief meteorologist Muhammad Riaz also informed that water level in River Sindh will rise near Attock due to expected Monsoon rains in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.According to experts, the cotton crops in South Punjab and Sindh was badly affected by recent rains.
