Summary A girls nose chopped off after her parents refused to give her hand in marriage to a relative.
According to details, relatives of 22-year-old Musarrat Bibi of Vehari asked for her hand in marriage for their son but her parents refused it. This infuriated Mrsarrat’s relatives and they forcefully entered the house and dragged her out and chopped her nose with a shaped edge dagger. On resistant her mother was also injured by the attackers. The culprits managed to escape from the scene after the incident. Police did not register any case yet.In another such incident, some influential person of Texila invited a man named Safdar to his house and broke his legs and chopped off his nose and ears. Safdar was subjected to this brutality because his son wanted to marry the daughter of the influential person of the area.
