Summary Residents in Multan are suffering due to power shutdown as electricity shortfall increased.
According to Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO), the city is facing a shortfall of 850 MW of electricity.Multan is getting 2,150 megawatt of electricity against a demand of 3000 MW which also increased duration of loadshedding.The urban areas are facing 9 to 10 hours of power cuts while in urban areas this duration ranges from 11 to 12 hours. MEPCO officials said that people are facing long hours of loadshedding due the increase in shortfall of electricity.According to the Met office, the maximum temperature in Multan in the next 24 hours will be 27 degree Celsius with partly overcast condition.
