Summary At least 85 villages of Bajwat have been flooded due to overflow of River Jammu Tavi in Sialkot.
The affected villages’ land connection with other areas has been suspended due to overflow of floodwater in the river located closeby.Also, the raging water has destroyed farmland in the surrounding areas while the people have been stranded at homes.As per authorities, the water inflow in River Tawi at Marala level is 15,500 cusecs whereas the outflow in River Chenab is being recorded at 1,12,805 cusecs.
