Summary The low price Ramazan Bazaars could not be established in Quetta so far despite the announcement.

The district administration in Quetta has set up low-priced Ramazan bazaars on Simingli Road and and Joint Road. Even the tents were installed on July 31 for this purpose but the stalls are still empty.Rice and soft drinks can be seen only on one or two stalls of Joint Road while the vendors’ carts are surrounding this low-priced bazaar on which products are being sold on routine and high rates. Citizens are embarrassed on not receiving relief in the holy month of Ramazan.According to the traders of Quetta, no subsidy is given to them during Ramazan for establishing low-priced stalls. The said that they want to facilitate the citizens but the government is not cooperating with them.Meanwhile, the district government says that the factory owners and traders are not cooperating for establishing low-priced bazaars and they are also responsible for failure of the bazaars.On the other side, Utility Store Corporation stalls have not been arranged in the bazaars due to security reasons.
