Summary Health department, Ojha Institute and CPLC teams sealed a spurious medicine factory in Karachi.
According to details, the principal of Ojha institute was informed that the medicine, Closrin, given to chronic patients of Tuberculoses, was spurious.Meanwhile, the medicine was tested from an authentic laboratory and the laboratory report disclosed that the medicine was spurious as some powder was filled in the capsules instead of the relevant medicine.Later, the health department, Ojha Institute and CPLC teams jointly raided the factory in Defence area of Karachi and sealed it. At least 11 people were arrested from the scene.
