Independence Day celebration kicks off in Balochistan

The Pakistan Army, the Balochistan government and the Quetta District administration organised a festival in Askari Park, Quetta.The festival will continue for seven day and has been given the name of Pakistan Festival.Sardar Ali Ahmad Jogzai, a Pakistan movement leader, was the chief Guest of the inauguration ceremony of the festival.The Southern command commandant, the Balochistan Police IG, the FC officials and many prominent people from various walks of life attended the inauguration ceremony.Addressing the ceremony, the chief guest said that the youth should have to play its role to bring peace in the country.Acts of Balochi dance, patriotic songs, regional dances, and Musical show were presented during the inauguration ceremony of the festival.A military pride was also organised for the audience.The participants admired the efforts of the organisers and desired that more festivals of this kind should be held in the city, saying that such festivals boost their patriotism.Special children, Education Department, city defence and Cultural Ministry set up their stalls in the festival.
