Summary Railways retired employees took out protest over non-payment of pension.
The pensioners said that they had not been paid even after a lapse of 20 days into the next month. They were finding it hard to keep things going.They said that the government had promised to pay pension till the 20th, but in vain.A large number of pensioners reached the National Bank but Railways officials assured the Bank administration that payment would be made till the 25th.
