Summary Five people, including three brothers, were shot dead over a land dispute in Kot Addu.

According to details, five people were shot dead over an old land dispute between two groups of Chandio tribe in Thatta Kirmani area of Kot Addu. Armed men opened fire at Muhammad Mumtaz and his brother Sajjad when they were going to plough their land on Friday. Hearing the firing, their third brother Shahid and two cousins Rashid and Zameer rushed for help but were also shot dead by the attackers. According to police, the murders were result of an old enmity. Police have sent the bodies to District Headquarters Hospital for autopsy and dispatched teams to arrest killers.
