Summary All the people who died in a passenger van explosion in Islamabad have been identified.
Hospital sources said the deceased included Ansar Mehmood, Tariq Mehmood, Abdul Saeed, Muhammad Razzaq, Karam Din, Muhammad Sarfraz, Ali Akbar and Mudassar.Their bodies have been handed over to the heirs for burial. Ansar, Tariq and Abdul Saeed, all from a village of Rawat, were CDA employees. Six bodies were handed over yesterday while the remaining on Wednesday.The Islamabad IG said no explosive material was spotted in the forensic report. The blast took place due to gas leakage from the CNG cylinder.
