Summary Police arrest three dacoits, including a woman, after an encounter at the Circular Road.
According to details, five armed dacoits, including Shamim Mai of Okara, were busy in a dacoity bid in a shoe shop in front of District Police Officer (DPO) house. The dacoits got panic when they saw elite force personnel approaching and opened fire at the police party, which injured a passer bye.One dacoit, Muhammad Akram, was injured when police returned the fire. The dacoits fled from the scene leaving behind their car. However, police arrested three dacoits, including Shamim Mai while two others managed to escape.
