Summary An investigation was ordered after the female staff logged a complaint at the Chief Minster House.

Female staff of a government hospital in Mustafabad, Kasur accused senior medical officer Dr Shahid Nazir Dar of sexual harassment.Talking to Dunya news the victims told that they were fed of the Dr Shahid Nazir Dar, In-charge Rural Health Center Kasur, who used to sexually harass them. The victims said that they had to bring their sons when on duty at night.The victims also said that Dr Shahid had the backing of influential people which is why no action was being taken against him despite numerous complaints. When confronted, Dr Shahid posted four nurses in hospital far from home but after protests, the decision was cancelled.On the other hand, Dr Shahid claims that the nurses were slacking from work and were not coming to the hospital on time. He said that the nurses were also accused of stealing hospital property.Director General Health Muhammad Aslam told Dunya news that if the doctor is found guilty in the investigations, he would face dire consequences.
