Summary A feudal tortured a poor family in Okara and broke the arm of a four-year-old girl.
Muhammad Saleem Jakhar, an influential feudal of a town near Oakara, intruded on the house of a poor family and broke the arm of four-year-old girl, besides injuring the other family members, including women.Jakhar had already opened fire at the family on three occasions that injured other family members. He also had destroyed the family’s four acre sugarcane crop. The locals lodged two cases against Jakhar but no arrest was made. The locals staged a protest in front of Satghara Police Station and demanded justice from Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.Dunya News approached the Okara district police officer but he could not give a satisfactory answer.
