Summary Court ordered to lodge an FIR against health minister and police officials for torture on doctors.

Representative of Young Doctors Association Hayatullah Kakar submitted a writ in the court of Additional Sessions Court Quetta in which he alleged that police targeted their peaceful rally with firing and shelling, injuring a large number of their companions. Provincial health minster, secretary health, assistant commissioner, SP and DSP are said to be involved in the incident. The counsel for the doctors prayed to the court that an FIR should be lodged against the above-mentioned officials for their alleged involvement in the crime. At this, ASJ Bashir Ahmad ordered to register a case against the persons involved in the case. However police have not registered an FIR against the accused.
