Summary An angry crowd killed a wanted bandit and severely injured his fellow bandit in Sheikhupura.
Mujahid, an absconder, was robbing people on roadside along with his associate, Akhtar.The people of the nearby village caught the duo and beat them with stones and batons. Police reached the site but Mujahid was already dead, police rescued Akhtar and shifted him to a hospital in a critical condition. Sheikhupura District Police Officer Rana Shahid Pervez told Dunya News that Mujahid was wanted in various incidents of murder and robbery.
