Sindh minister protests against non-allocation of sports funds

When Sindh Assembly session started, only 8 out of 167 members were present in the House.Sindh Law Minister Ayaz Ahmad Somro on a point of order told that the courts in the province were independent while the government only provides funds for the developmental work of the judiciary.Provincial Minister for Social Welfare Nargis ND Khan told that a model project for the street children of the province would begin work from 2013.Meanwhile, ten more members of the assembly participated in the general debate on Buget 2011-12.Provincial Sports Minister Muhammad Ali Shah protested during the session for not allocating funds for the developmental projects in sports department.
