Summary Six employees of Anti Narcotics Force including two majors were shifter to jail on judicial remand.
The judicial remand was given on court order which was executed by police.As per detail, Major Saeed Kamaran, Deputy Director Major Nazir Ahmad, SHO Muhammd Akram Niaz raided on the house of Zulifqar on August 2008 in jurisdiction of Khyali Police Station and took him to Lahore for investigation.But, on the next day, his dead body was handed over to his relatives.A case was registered against 21 employees on the court order but none of them was arrested.On the application of deceased’ mother, District and Sessions Judge Rashid Qamar ordered to arrest Major Saeed Kamaran, Deputy Director Major Nazir Ahmad, SHO Muhammd Akram Niaz,Riaz, Naveed and Mehmood by dismissing their interim bails.
