The Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party called a wheel-jam strike against the electricity load shedding and not laying the new transmission line, from Quetta to Zhob.Police resorted to baton charge on the demonstrators in Quetta and arrested several of them.Low attendance was observed in the educational institutions and offices of Balochistan due to the strike.The train bound to Chaman from Quetta was suspended owing to the strike.Domestic flights also did not take off from Quetta Airport.
