Summary Protestors blocked the railway track for the suspension of electricity in Railway colony by MEPCO.
Protestors including women and children stopped the Shah Rukne Alam Express train heading from Karachi to Multan. Protestors burnt tires on the track and observed a sit-in.The protestors said that electricity usages is charged from their salaries but due to the non payment by Divisional Superintendent (DS) railways Multan, electricity supply has been cut by Multan Electric Supply Company (MEPCO). The residents in Railway colony have been without electricity for the past 48 hours.
