MQMs reservations are hurdle in LB elections

Talking to the media in Sanghar after attending a meeting of area administrators and local bodies officers, the Sindh local bodies (LB) minister said that the Pakistan People’s Party was ready to hold LB elections this year but Muttahida Qaumi Movement had some reservations over this. He admitted that there was corruption in local bodies but said that it could not be stopped. Answering a question, the provincial minister said that the lion of Sindh, Zulfikar Mirza, would resume his charge soon. Earlier, journalists twice staged protest after exchange of hash words between district coordination officer and newsmen.
