Summary Mandi Bahauddin DPO suspended five police officials, who allegedly rape two women.
The Mandi Bahauddin district police officer suspended five police officials, including Miani Gondal police station sub-inspector Riaz Ranjha, on the complaint of victims.The DPO said that a stern action would be taken against the officials, if proven guilty. In a village located in the outskirts of Mandi Bahauddin, Imran married a girl of his village without the consent of her family.The family members of the girl filed a complaint with Miani Gondal police station against Imran.Police detained Imran’s mother and another woman of his family and raped them in the police station.The area magistrate ordered the Mandi Bahauddin District Headquarters Hospital medical superintended to take the medical examination of the women.
