Summary Teachers in Khanpur held a protest rally hanging chains, vegetables and bread around their necks.
The rally was taken out under the banner of All Punjab Secondary Schools Teachers movement. The participants shouted slogans against the government. Teachers said that the government banned their transfers for three years and also cut Rs 4,000 of regular teachers. They demanded the government to increase their salaries.
