Summary Senior doctors strike at the Jinnah Hospital, Karachi enters second day.
The senior doctors are protesting against the proposed handing over of Jinnah Hospital and Childcare Centre to the provincial government while young doctors are also on strike to press for their pay raise.The patients coming from far-flung area of the province are facing hardships due to the strike of doctors and paramedics. The protesting doctors threatened to continue their strike till the acceptance of their demands and said that the boycott of Outdoor Patient Department and Pharmacy Department would continue.
