Summary Sindh has lodged protested against the usage of its 5,000 cusec water by Punjab.
The Sindh regulation director wrote a letter to Indus River System Authority (IRSA), maintaining that the designated quota of water for Sindh was 100,000 cusec but it was getting 95,000 from Taunsa barrage. The letter said that Punjab was using the extra 5,000 cusec water.On the complaint of Sindh, IRSA sought a reply from the Punjab irrigation department.
