Summary An anti-terrorist court in Sargodha released five persons accused in a suicide attack in Bhakar.
At least 26 people were killed while 73 were injured including MNA Rashid Akbar Nawani in a suicide attack on October 6, 2008.Bhakar police presented the challans of 5 accused in the court that included Dr Nazar Hussain, Waqas, Amjad Abbas, Arif Khan and Amjad Khan.The police as plaintiff initially stated that a banned religious organisation made the suicide attack but afterwards the plaintiff stated that the ccused had a dispute with deceased Ejaz on car business deal. The court released all 5 people over insufficient evidence.
