The Pakhtun leaders from several countries including Afrasiab Khattak, Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao and people from various schools of thoughts participated in the two-day World Pashto Peace Conference.The Pakhtun leaders from Balochistan stressed the need for unity like Baloch people and said that the Pakhtuns should also raise voice for their rights.The delegations from Afghanistan presented their theses regarding peace in the region.In the concluding session, a resolution was passed to declare Afghanistan as a sovereign country so that peace may be maintained there.
