Summary A policeman was killed as bandits and the police exchanged fire near National Highway in Khairpur.
On the National Highway near Khairpur, Bandits tired to snatch a car heading from Karachi to Sakhar when the police arrived at the scene. As the bandits and the police exchanged fire, one policeman Syed Husain Shah was shot and killed. The bandits fled from the scene but the police surrounded the area and started a search operation. Several suspects have been detained for interrogation.
