A woman, Kanwal Shahzad, attempted to commit suicide by taking poison outside the office of the SP Iqbal Town. She said that her husband, with the help of his friend opened fire and later burnt her. She informed the police, adding that the police got freed him but did not register a case against the accused. She added that the accused had snatched her children. She alleged that police were not cooperating.SP Iqbal Town, however, told the media that a case had been registered and the court would decide the children’s custody matter.
