Summary The in-laws family cut off the nose of a youth after torturing him.
Resident of Taranda Muhammad Panah, Muhammad Khalid eloped four months ago with Fazila, a girl of his relative family and got married to her after which a tussle started between both the families. The family elders decided a fine of Rs.2 lakhs and engagement of a 14-year-old girl with a 70-year-old uncle of Fazila in exchange. Khalid’s family accepted the decision and paid the fine and engaged the girl with old man. The dispute was said to be settled but Khalid’s in-laws have been planning to take revenge.However, one day they got a chance and took Khalid to some deserted house and cut off his nose after torturing him.Khalid was shifted to Bahawal Victoria Hospital. The police registered the case but the accused were not arrested till last information.
