Summary Doctors in Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) also announced a strike from Saturday.
Following the path of doctors in Punjab, doctors in the federal capital hospitals have also stopped attending the outpatient department (OPD) and operation theaters to protest against low salaries and revision of the service structure.Talking to the Dunya News, Young Doctors Association Islamabad President Dr Sajid Abbasi said that no patient would be treated in the OPD and operation theater would also remain close in PIMS. However, doctors will continue to work in the emergency and intensive care unit, Abbasi said.
