Summary A dacoit was killed in a police encounter while his accomplice escaped on Wednesday in Lahore.
Shahdra Town police intercepted two suspects on wednesday but they started firing at the police. The police returned fire in which one of the men was killed but the other managed to escape. The deceased was identified as Maqsood alias Mithoo. Police have shifted the body to the city morgue for autopsy.According to the police, Maqsood and his accomplice were wanted in various incidents of robbery.
