Summary Three kidnappers killed during a police shootout in Khairpur.
In a police shootout in Khairpur, three dacoits got killed; where as a trader who was kidnapped 15 days ago was also recovered. According to DPO Khairpur Khadim Hussain Rand, a trader known as Ghulam Haider Sheikh was kidnapped from Khairpur city. Today police was informed that kidnappers are shifting the hostage from one location to another on a car.Upon this information, police cordoned off the whole area. When a suspicious car approaching towards police check post was asked to stop, the kidnappers inside it opened fire on police. In retaliation, police also returned fire due to which three culprits got killed instantly. While police then managed to release the kidnapped trader. It has been announced that police officials involved in this police shootout will be given promotions.
