Summary A dacoit killed in police shootout in Shahdara Town, Lahore.
In the area of Shahdara Town, Lahore, one dacoit was killed in an alleged police shootout; where as another managed to flee. According to Shahdara police, Maqsud alias Mittho and his accomplice were involved in various crimes. Police tried to stop the dacoit in the limits of Shahdara but the dacoit retaliated by opening fire at the police. During this, police also returned fire due to which one dacoit was killed who was identified as Maqsud alias Mittho; where as his accomplice managed to escape the scene. The dead body of dacoit killed has been shifted to Mayo Hospital for post-mortem.
