Summary Robbers killed a police constables wife, besides injuring the constable in Lahore on Monday.
According to police, a constable of the Muhafiz Squad Bilal, was returning from a wedding ceremony with his wife, Urooj, when dacoits intercepted them near Zafar Ali Road. The constable offered resistanceon which robbers shot at the couple. they were taken to the Services Hospital where Urooj passed away, while Bilal was said to be in a critical condition.Police have registered the case and sent a body for postmortem. Four people have been killed so far for resisting robbery attempts in a week in Lahore.
