Faisalabad: Citizens protest against the constant rise in crime

In Chak 109, local resident, Nadeem, was traveling to Jaranwala with his wife and children when armed men stopped and looted them of jewelery, cash and mobile phones. When Nadeem resisted, the robbers shot at him but the bullet missed and he remained unhurt.The people protested against the increasing criminal activity in the area. Women and children were also among the protesters as they blocked the road for two hours. According to the protesters, the police have not taken any action against the criminals which is why the criminal activity has increased.
