Summary Lawyers in Malir district boycotted the courts and staged a protest rally against Lyari operation.
The Malir Bar Association boycotted the courts and the judges stopped hearing of cases while the prisoners were sent back to barracks.The protest rally of the lawyers started from the city court with slogans against the Lyari operation .They wanted to march towards the most affected area Cheel Chowk but police stopped the protesting lawyers at Lee Market Chowk.Addressing the rally on this occasion, the lawyers’ leaders termed the operation biased and demanded to end it immediately.
